Experienced local security officers are now openly speaking of “good guys” action
The Mercedes owner of a coffee chain in Patras was parked in the basement of a building in Demenika, Patras. Suddenly, there was a bang and the neighborhood rose to its feet. The car was “blown up”!
Directly at the spot where the fire broke out, 2 vehicles with 6 firefighters rushed to the spot and extinguished it, however it caused significant damage. However, the timely intervention of the PY prevented the worst, as the flames could have spread to the apartment on the first floor, after “licking” the balcony of an adjacent house.
The Fire Department and the Police are investigating the case with great care, since the fact that it happened… early Monday and in a parked vehicle, points to arson!
What is even more troubling is the fact that this is the third arson in a few 24 hours. A few days ago, unknown persons had set gas canisters in restaurants in Riga Feraio and Trion Navarchon, Patras.
Experienced local Security officers are now openly speaking about bravo actionbut they have not reached the tracks of this particular group.
If we add the one in Psilalonia of Patras to the above three “hits”, it is even more obvious that the arsons are not accidental!
The issue, however, is the identification of the perpetrators. It should be emphasized that the groups of “veterans” of the “night” try to maintain calm and do not give reasons for such events.
The Police, however, is oriented towards identifying and arresting new “gardens”!
