Threats for her life she complains that the medical examiner – technical consultant, Aikaterini Apostolidou, accepts, after the testimony regarding the autopsy of Elki, before the Mixed Jury Court of Thessaloniki.

We remind you that 12 PAOK fans are sitting in the defendant’s dock accused of manslaughter, attempted murder and other crimes.

The witness testified yesterday (4/4) at the trial for the murder of the 19-year-old and the wounding of his two friends, in the Harilaou area.

In the evening of the same day, she started receiving threatening phone calls from strangers, while similar messages with abusive comments against her were posted on social media.

Ms. Apostolidou this morning she made a relevant report to the police and to the head of the Prosecutor’s Office, expressing fears for her life, but also for her family members.

What the medical examiner argued during the hearing

The medical examiner, as the technical advisor of the 2nd defendant, expressed her opinion on the traumatic injuries suffered by Alkis and the two injured, while she disagreed with the findings of the forensic reports signed by medical examiner Leda Kovatsis, who was appointed by the police.

Specifically, during yesterday’s (4/4) hearing, at the witness examination stage, the technical advisor pointed out that:

If we hadn’t had the blow to the femoral artery, chances are he would have lived. Cause of death is hemorrhagic shock».

That is, it was differentiated from the diagnosis of Ms. Kovatsi, who ruled that the 19-year-old Alkis died due to a combination of injuries from blows to the head and the eating of the femoral artery.

He testified that the swelling in the brain was pre-mortem, due to the collapse of the organism, and the injuries Alkis suffered on the head were not fatal, as Ms. Kovacs.

Also, Ms. Apostolidou added that the wound to the femoral artery was accidental as the attacker could not have aimed at that particular spot.
