There had been previous successful efforts for the sources of Lisvori and Polichnitos which have already entered the final stage of their re-exploitation, to be sealed yesterday by a Decision of the Ministers of Environment and Energy as well as Tourism and the recognition of the natural resource “Municipal Spring Water of Eftalou ».
It was completed today with the securing of the relevant certification and in the case of the source of Eftalou Mithymna, the recognition of the natural resource in all three thermal springs of Western Lesvos.

“We have good news again, this time concerning our tourist Molyvos. After very difficult bureaucratic procedures and with the cooperation of many of our executives in the Municipality, we managed to secure the recognition of our natural resource and source in Eftalou. It is the third resource in a row that we are essentially restoring to what we call our natural treasure, and I confess that it was also the most difficult case, as we went through the process of even modifying the shoreline to proceed seamlessly with its utilization“, said the Mayor of Western Lesvos, Taxiarchis Verros.
