On the farm of a 67-year-old man in Ampelonas, yesterday, following an investigation by police officers from the Tyrnavos Department and the Larissa Security Sub-Directorate, 19 young cattleas well as 4 sacks of feed.

The young calves as well as the fodder, according to the police investigation, had been stolen from a livestock unit of a 39-year-old from Elassona, with the 67-year-old being arrested accused of animal theftas well as his two accomplices, two Pakistani nationals aged 22 and 28, who are in our country without the necessary travel documents.

According to information, in the two months from February 15 to April 15, the three perpetrators removed in parts the young calves from the Elassona cattle breeding unit and transported them to the farm of Ampelonas.

In fact, the 22-year-old Pakistani allegedly worked for the breeder of Elassona, while for some time he also hosted his 28-year-old compatriot. As part of the police investigation at 11 yesterday morning, the two Pakistani nationals were found at the farm of 67-year-old Ambelonitis, while the stolen animals and feed were attributed to 39-year-old Elassonitis.

A case file was also filed against the 67-year-old for illegal employment of foreigners.
