The capacity of the two departments amounts to 450 probationary police officers, specifically 200 in Grevena and 250 in Naoussa
In the coming academic year (2023-2024) and specifically in the fall of 2023, the Probationary Police Departments of Grevena and Naoussa are going to reopen, as announced by the Ministry of Citizen Protection.
According to the announcement, the necessary upgrading works were carried out at the facilities of the two Probationary Police Departments, and their capacity amounts to 450 Probationary Policemen, namely 200 in Grevena and 250 in Naoussa.
It should be noted that the admission of students to the School of Police Officers is carried out through the System of General Examinations for access to Higher Education and the School belongs to the upper level of this.
The mission of the School is the modern, scientific, theoretical and practical training of Police Cadets, which aims at the thorough professional training and the appropriate physical and mental preparation of the trainees, with the aim of becoming capable police officers and offering their best to the State and to society total.
