The new work experience scheme will enable unemployed young people to gain valuable experience in the digital economy
Today, Monday, April 24, 2023, the submission of online applications for unemployed people to participate in the new “Work Experience Acquisition Program for 3,900 unemployed young people up to the age of 29” of DYPA, which will give them the opportunity to gain valuable experience in the digital economy, begins. The deadline for applications is Wednesday 24 May 2023 at 23:59.
The work experience will last 30 hours per week (6 hours per day, 5 days per week) for 6 months and DYPA will pay 594 euros monthly net compensation (27 euros per day for 22 days of work experience) directly to the participants.
The action is aimed at registered unemployed people aged up to 29 who have completed a training program in the field of the digital economy of at least 50 hours.
The program, whose budget amounts to €14,935,120, is co-financed by Greece and the European Union through the EP. “Human Resource Development, Education and Lifelong Learning 2014-2020” funded by the Youth Employment Initiative (YEI).
