Yesterday (26/4) the Economic Police raided a store of health interest in Attica, where illegal games of chance were being conducted, making nine arrests.

In particular, the temporary manager, four employees of the store and three players were arrested and a case was filed against them for violations of the legislation on games and personal data, while at the same time another person was arrested for violating the legislation on addictive substances, as he was found in his possession and a small amount of cocaine was seized.

According to ELAS, during the inspection, it was found that illegal games of chance were being conducted, while during the search that followed in the premises of the store, the following were found and confiscated: 3 central computer units (server), 4 roulette tables, 6 card game tables, a recorder and 12 cameras , chips, playing cards and 11,865 euros.

The seized digital evidence will be sent to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations for laboratory examination, the rest seized to the Directorate of Public Material Management for safekeeping, the amount of money will be given to the Deposit and Loan Fund and the narcotics to the State General Chemistry.

Those arrested, with the files filed against them, were taken to the competent prosecuting authority.
