For the following recipe you will need two salmon fillets, spices, honey and avocado. In addition, you can make a cool salsa with pineapple and cucumber and have a dish rich in ω-3, aromas and flavors.

What you will need for 2 servings:

  • 2 salmon fillets
  • honey
  • salt

for the spice mix:

  • 1 teaspoon each ground cumin, coriander and brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon dried oregano
  • ¼-½ teaspoon hot chili powder

for the sauce:

  • 1 avocado, cut in half
  • 2 tablespoons each of cream and yogurt
  • ¼ cup each coriander and parsley leaves, coarsely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon pickled jalapenos
  • 2 tablespoons “juice” from pickled jalapeños
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • sea ​​salt and ground pepper

for the salsa:

  • 1 cup diced pineapple
  • ¼ cup diced cucumber
  • 1 tablespoon chopped red onion
  • 2 teaspoons chopped red chili
  • lime juice, a little olive oil and salt
  • fresh dill for garnish, optional

How to make it:

  1. For the dressing: Blend all the ingredients in a food processor until smooth. Season with salt and pepper.
  2. Put all the spices together in a bowl.
  3. Preheat the grill.
  4. Place the salmon in a pan with a little oil and sprinkle with the spices. Season with salt and pepper and pour over the honey.
  5. Place the salmon in the bottom third of the oven and bake for about 5 minutes until the top is golden brown and the salmon is cooked to our liking. Set aside to rest for 5 minutes.
  6. For the salsa: Mix the first ingredients in a bowl and add the lime juice, a little olive oil and salt.
  7. To serve, spread the dressing on the plates and top with a piece of salmon. Pour over a spoonful of salsa and garnish with dill if desired.
