From 6am no parking and from 8am temporary and gradual traffic closures for Labor Day events
Traffic regulations will be implemented on Monday (1-5-2023) in the center of Athens, due to the holding of festive events for Labor Day.
In particular, there will be a temporary and gradual stoppage of traffic from 08.00 a.m. and a ban on the stopping and parking of vehicles from 06.00 a.m. until the end of the events on the following avenues and streets as follows:
-Stadium, along its entire length, as well as on its verticals.
– El. Venizelou (University), along its entire length, as well as on its perpendiculars.
-L. Vas. Amalia, along its entire length, as well as on its perpendiculars.
-Ath. Diakou, along its entire length, as well as on its verticals.
– Philellini, along its entire length, as well as on its verticals.
-L. Syngrou, in the section between Ath. Diakou street and L. Vas. Olga street and in the two (2) traffic streams.
– Patision (October 28), in the section between L. Alexandra and El. Venizelos (University) and in both (2) traffic streams, as well as in the perpendicular ones up to the first parallel street.
-L. Vas. Sofia, in the section between Vas. Kon/nos to Vas. Amalia, traffic flow towards Pl. Syntagma as well as on its diagonals up to the first parallel road. Depending on the prevailing traffic conditions, the time intervals of the above traffic regulations may be extended or reduced beyond the specified hours, as well as not being applied.
ELAS appeals to drivers for better service and to avoid additional traffic problems, to avoid passing their vehicles on the above roads during the mentioned time intervals and to follow the signals and instructions of the traffic controllers.
