The announcement of the People’s Hospital – Four arrests by the police for the attack in Petralona
The Minister of Health suffered a slight injury to his left eye Thanos Pleuris after the yogurt attack he and his family received at a diner in Petralona at noon.
The Minister of Health attended the external ophthalmology clinic of the People’s Hospital, and the ophthalmological examination revealed intense, diffuse hyperemia and edema of the conjunctiva of the left eye as well as punctate apoptosis of the corneal epithelium of the same eye.

“Around 03:20 p.m. the Minister of Health, Mr. Athanasios Pleuris, came urgently to the external ophthalmology clinic of G.NA “LAÏKO”, during the General Vigil, following an attack he received on his face with a white liquid substance thrown in the presence of his family.
“The ophthalmological examination revealed intense, diffuse hyperemia and swelling of the conjunctiva of the left eye as well as punctate apoptosis of the corneal epithelium of the same eye. Appropriate first aid was administered and treatment and re-examination were recommended. Afterwards, the Minister left in good general condition.
“Senior Governor Papadakis Dimitrios, Governor Roidis Theofanis, Director of the Eye Clinic Micha Maria”.
In four additions the police proceeded for the attack on Thanos Pleuris and his family. The detainees were released a short time later
