New measures-Koronovirus: Suspension of operation in 23 stores – Over 90,000 controls

In a total of 90,882 inspections carried out throughout Greece, yesterday, Saturday, November 6, which was the first day of implementation of the new measures to limit the spread of coronavirus, 11 arrests were made, 594 violations were confirmed, while the operation of 23 stores was suspended.

It is noted that the 40,675 inspections were carried out at the Athens International Airport “Eleftherios Venizelos”.

Analytically, the results of yesterday’s audits, according to ELAS data, are the following:

– 261 infringements for non-use of a mask and other related infringements, while 254 fines of 300 euros and 7 of 150 euros were imposed.

Particularly:

59 in Thessaly,

45 in Thessaloniki,

41 in Western Greece,

22 in Epirus,

21 in the North Aegean,

16 in the Peloponnese,

12 in Central Macedonia,

11 in Western Macedonia,

10 in Crete,

9 in Central Greece,

4 in Eastern Macedonia and Thrace,

3 in the Ionian Islands and

1 in the South Aegean.

– 10 infringements for travel restriction with a fine of 300 euros, as follows:

5 in the North Aegean,

4 in Central Macedonia and

1 in Attica.

– 320 violations and 11 arrests for rules of operation of shops, private companies and other violations of the relevant legislation (prohibition of operation, non-use of a mask, percentage of square meter per person).

In the above cases, the following sanctions were imposed for violation of suspension of operation and related violations of the relevant provisions. Specifically:

In Thessaloniki

– Arrest of a customer of a health interest store because he refused to show the necessary certificates

– 5,000 euros fine, in a store of health interest, with the imposition of a 15-day suspension, for customer service without the necessary certificates and 2 violations to an equal number of customers,

– 43 infringements of 300 euros, for non-use of a mask, by shop owners, employees and customers,

– 5 violations in stores, for non-indication of operating rules,

– 2 violations in stores, for not posting the maximum number of people allowed.

In Eastern Macedonia and Thrace

– From a fine of 5,000 euros, in 2 stores with the imposition of a 15-day suspension of operation, for customer service without the necessary certificates and 2 violations to an equal number of customers,

– 2,000 euros fine, in a store of health interest, with the imposition of a 7-day suspension, for customer service without the necessary certificates and violation to the customer,

– 19 violations of 300 euros, for not using a mask, by owners, customers and store employees.

– 1 violation in a store of health interest, for not posting the maximum allowed number of people.

In Thessaly

– 2 arrests of store owners of health interest for violation of article 285 of the Penal Code, the violations were confirmed by the Independent Transparency Authority.

– arrest and a fine of 10,000 euros, in a store of health interest, with the imposition of a 15-day suspension, for customer service without the necessary certificates and 2 violations to an equal number of customers,

– 5,000 euros fine, in a store of health interest, with the imposition of a 15-day suspension, for customer service without the necessary certificates and 2 violations to an equal number of customers,

– 3 violations in stores, for not posting the maximum number of people allowed,

– 2 violations in stores, for lack of antiseptics from the tables,

– 18 violations of 300 euros, for non-use of a mask, by employees and customers of stores.

In Central Macedonia

– Arrest of an owner and a fine of 5,000 euros, in a store of health interest with the imposition of a 15-day suspension of operation, for customer service without the necessary certificates and violation to the customer,

– Arrest of a temporary manager and a fine of 5,000 euros, in a store of health interest with the imposition of a 15-day suspension of operation, for serving a large number of customers,

– From a fine of 5,000 euros, in 4 stores with the imposition of a 15-day suspension of operation, for customer service without the necessary certificates and 5 violations to an equal number of customers,

– 27 infringements of 300 euros, for non-use of a mask, by owners, employees and customers of stores,

– 2 violations in a store, for not posting the maximum number of people allowed.

In the Peloponnese

– Arrest of owner and customer, as well as a fine of 5,000 euros, in a store of health interest with the imposition of a 15-day suspension of operation, for customer service without the necessary certificates,

– From a fine of 5,000 euros, in 3 stores with the imposition of a 15-day suspension of operation, for customer service without the necessary certificates and violations to customers,

– 4 violations in stores, for not posting the maximum number of people allowed,

– 6 violations of 300 euros, for not using a mask, by store employees.

In Central Greece

– Arrest and a fine of 5,000 euros, in a store, with the imposition of a 15-day suspension of operation, for customer service without the necessary certificates and violation to the customer,

– 4 violations in stores, for not posting the maximum number of people allowed,

– 27 violations of 300 euros, for not using a mask, by owners, customers and store employees.

In Western Macedonia

– 5,000 euro fine, in a store of health interest, with the imposition of a 15-day suspension of operation, for customer service without the necessary certificates and confirmation of violations to 2 customers,

– 5,000 euros for entry into the country, without the necessary certificates,

– 9 offenses for non-use of a mask by bus passengers,

– 9 violations of 300 euros, for not using a mask, by a customer and a store employee and a public market trader.

In the Ionian Islands

– 5,000 euro fine, in a store of health interest, with the imposition of a 15-day suspension of operation, for customer service without the necessary certificates and a certificate of violation to the customer,

– 2 offenses for not using a mask on bus passengers,

– 26 violations of 300 euros, for not using a mask, by the owner, employees and customers of stores.

In Attica

– From a fine of 5,000 euros, in 2 stores of health interest, with the imposition of a 7-day suspension of operation, for customer service without the necessary certificates and a certificate of violation to the 2 customers,

– 18 violations of 300 euros, for non-use of a mask by store employees.

In Western Greece

– Owner and temporarily responsible were arrested and fined from 5,000 euros, in 2 stores of health interest, with a 15-day suspension, for customer service without the necessary certificates and 2 violations to an equal number of customers,

– 14 violations of 300 euros, for non-use of a mask, by employees and customers of stores.

In Epirus

– 1 violation in a store, for not posting a maximum number of people allowed,

– 6 violations of 300 euros, for not using a mask, by shop customers.

In the South Aegean

– 1 violation in a store, for not posting a maximum number of people allowed,

– 8 violations of 300 euros, for not using a mask, by shop employees, as well as 1 violation by a driver of a vehicle.

In Crete

– 3 violations of 300 euros to store customers, for non-compliance with distances,

– 18 violations of 300 euros, for non-use of a mask, by employees and customers of stores.

In the North Aegean

– 5 violations of 300 euros, for not using a mask, by employees and shop owners.

According to ELAS, the inspections continue with undiminished intensity for the protection of public health.
