From the preliminary investigation of the above agency, it emerged that the above, at least from the middle of February of this year, had formed and joined a criminal group, having distinct roles, with the aim of systematically committing robberies against gas station employees.

How did they act?

In terms of their methodology of action, in the evening and early morning hours, when there is less traffic, the members of the gang, with an alternating composition, traveled with two-wheeled vehicles of small displacement that they owned in areas of the Southern Suburbs, looking for gas stations where they worked an employee.

As soon as they located the target gas station, they inspected the area, either by making on-site crossings, or by presenting themselves as customers and at an appropriate time, having covered their facial features with hoods and wearing gloves, they approached the employee in question.

At the threat of a knife or a gun, they immobilized him, forced him to hand over the store’s receipts to them, and fled.

So far, (4) cases of robberies against employees of liquid fuel stations in Alimo, Ilioupoli, Elliniko and Argyroupoli have been solved.

From the searches carried out in the homes of the arrested members, clothing worn by the gang members during the commission of the robberies was found and confiscated.

Two of the gang members have been arrested on a case-by-case basis in the past for theft and breaching drug and explosives laws.
