As established by the police investigation, the perpetrators, aged 24, 42 and 40 respectively, who were arrested they tried to withdraw money with the bank cards contained in the wallet.
The arrests were made during police patrols of the Security, Police and Immediate Action Directorates of Thessaloniki. At the same time, four more arrests were made for cases of theft and attempted theft, which took place in the areas of Harilaou, Kordelio, Pylaia and Evosmos.
Among them, a 48-year-old man was arrested, who exploited the access he had to company premises, he tried to remove, from an inactive factory, a piece of copper (60 kg), but he was noticed by the guard and arrested by police officers who rushed to the scene.
The police advise that patrols and checks will continue with undiminished interest in order to deal effectively with any similar incidents.
