The PPC International Cycling Tour of Greece was successfully completed, giving energy from Crete to the Peloponnese, moments with strong emotions and international visibility for Greece.

PPC, nominal and major sponsor of the event, supported for the second year in a row the leading sports event, with the aim of strengthening sports and promoting the bicycle for all, as a means of recreation and sustainable urban transportation.

Within 5 racing days, from May 2 to 6, the PPC Cycling Tour of Greece passed through 23 Municipalities of Crete and the Peloponnese, covering 658.5 km.

Among the 20 teams and 120 athletes who took part, 9 athletes of the National Cycling Team competed with the support of PPC. The blue shirt of PPC was worn by the Portuguese Iúri Leitão, who emerged as the big winner of this year’s event.

Strategically supporting the bicycle and all its versions, as a means of sport, entertainment and sustainable urban transportation, PPC also gave “energy” to the parallel actions of the event, through the PPC fan zones and the PPC e-bike Festival. The hundreds of young and old visitors had the opportunity to learn about the electric bike, do free tests, take part in educational games and also in the big raffles held in Heraklion and Kalamata for an e-bike!
