New routes are added from Monday 15 Mayon the axis Athens – Thessaloniki – Athens, with two additional pairs of Intercity trains, one of which is performed with train ETR470, and new departure/arrival times, to better serve the passenger public.

It should be noted, according to a Hellenic Train announcement, that the ETR470 trains stop at all intermediate stations, and the tariff and commercial policy applied are similar to Intercity trains, (43 Euros 2nd Class and 52.50 Euros 1st Class, one way) .

In particular, from 15.05.2023, trains will run on the Athens – Thessaloniki – Athens axiss:

From Athens:

· IC50, with a departure time of 06:59

· IC52, with departure time 09:59

· IC54, with a departure time of 14:59 (train ETR470)

· IC56, with a departure time of 17:59

From Thessaloniki:

· IC51, with departure time 07:15 (train ETR470)

· IC53, with a departure time of 10:15

· IC55, with a departure time of 15:15

· IC57, with a departure time of 18:15

Bus routes on the route Athens – Thessaloniki – Athens are cancelled.

Also, from 15.05.2023:

The departure/arrival times of the routes Athens-Halkida-Athens Athens-Halkida-Athens are modified

The complete route network of the Piraeus-Kiato-Piraeus, Kiato-Aigio-Kiato lines and the Patra-Kiato-Patra Piraeus-Kiato-Piraeus bus line is activated

Finally, from next Monday, May 15, train services will be activated on the local Thessaloniki – Larissa – Thessaloniki Line as well as on the Larissa – Volos – Larissa route. Click here for more information.
