The police made six arrests in ASOEE after an operation inside the university premises. The six arrested, according to the information so far, are members of the anti-authoritarian space and were caught trying to tear down a wall, in order to form a “hangout” inside the University of Economics. The police were called to intervene by the rector authorities.
According to the report, the authorities entered the building from Antoniadou Street.
In fact, the anti-authoritarians were caught on the spot while they were tearing down a wall with a drill. On Wednesday afternoon, the police released a video from the operation in ASOEE:

A police operation took place at noon today, Wednesday, January 12, 2022, at the Athens University of Economics and Business, as a group of people used electric tools and hammers to damage the masonry of the Foundation.
Six (6) people were arrested in the context of the operation and with the case file against them they will be taken to the competent Prosecutor’s Office.
Preliminary investigation is carried out by the Attica Security Directorate.
