The General Police Directorate of Thessaloniki issued an announcement regarding the death of a 52-year-old funeral home owner in Neapoli, after he was beaten by two brothers during an incident.

In detail, the ELAS announcement states: In the morning hours, today (13/5) in Neapolis, an incident took place between a 52-year-old man and two citizens, aged 40 and 42, resulting in the fatal injury of the 52-year-old.

In particular, as emerged from the police investigation, the incident took place after an argument between the individuals, because the above kicked food for a stray, which the deceased placed outside his shop, as well as neighborhood issues.

After the end of the episode, the 52-year-old died while being transported to an on-call hospital, while the two people involved were arrested.

A case file was filed for the incident by the Department of Crimes against Life and Personal Freedom, of the Security Directorate of Thessaloniki, while as part of the investigation of the case, a forensic examination was ordered.

Those arrested with the case filed against them will be taken to the competent Prosecutor.
