Skopelos “starred” on British television as part of the visit of the television crew of the show “Loose Women”. It is one of the UK’s most popular daily morning entertainment shows broadcast by ITV and has around nine million weekly viewers!

The show “Loose Women” has been honored with BAFTA and DA awards. Focusing on the fact that the film adaptation of the timeless musical Mamma Mia was filmed on the beautiful island of the Sporades, six “live” broadcasts took place.

The live presentations took place against the background of the exotic beach of Amaranto and the picturesque church of Ai Giannis in Kastri which is located on top of a 100 meter high rock with 106 carved steps.

“Taking advantage of the unique characteristics of Skopelos, we choose original actions of international visibility that keep alive the connection with the popular musical. Especially this year, the travel flows from Great Britain show great momentum as they have started since April and are expected to continue until October”, said the President of the Tourism Committee of the Municipality of Skopelos, Ioanna Efstathiou. The filming of the show took place with the support of the Municipality of Skopelos and the voluntary contribution of the travel agency Dolphin of Skopelos.
