The city is located between impressive destinations such as the Fiji Islands, Manaus in Brazil and Cairo while the editors of the multinational news channel urge readers to visit Greece’s second largest city as one of its best city break destinations Europe. The article highlights the UNESCO culinary seal, the opening of the Modiano market, the popular beach front and the close access to beautiful inland beaches and mountains.

On the occasion of the publication, the Thessaloniki Tourism Organization points out that “Thessaloniki is gaining impressions and attention from recognized international media and is dynamically entering the world tourism map”. At the same time, he informs that the Italian magazine “Bell’ Europa”, which was released a few days ago, highlights the multicultural character of Thessaloniki, which is reflected in the culinary profile of the destination, from the flavors of Anatolia brought by the refugees in the 1920s, to the modern gourmet kitchen.

Also last week, the Spanish print magazine SHANGAY was launched, promoting the destination Thessaloniki to the LGBTI community in Spain. The presentation of the destination was implemented with the cooperation of the Thessaloniki Tourism Organization and the EOT of Spain, taking advantage of the direct AEGEAN flight from Barcelona.

Days ago, after all, the popular website Tasteatlas ranked Thessaloniki 25th among 100 others around the world for its authentic culinary profile.
