Protest march of ASOEE students towards the Constitution

by

Students of the Athens University of Economics and Business (ASOEE) are protesting in Syntagma Square. About 300 to 400 people participate in the march.

Earlier, they had gathered in the courtyard of the university to protest against the policing in the universities, while they also held an assembly. At the same time, strangers who were in the area caused tensions and attacked a TV crew that covered the gathering.

One of their central slogans is: “Their university does not fit the dreams and needs of the youth, so it will fight to the end to ruin their plans!”.

Also, “Pedophiles, usurers and those who hide them do not fit in universities!”.

The students also demand the resignation of the rector Dimitris Bourantonis, as reported by APE-MPE.

Meanwhile, the prosecutor filed criminal charges for three misdemeanor offenses against the six arrested during yesterday’s police operation in ASOEE.
