Four people have been charged with breaching the amateur and professional sports legislation, together with robbery as an accessory and abet, attempted and committed, dangerous bodily harm as an accessory and abet, weapons legislation and wearing a foreigner property.
ELAS proceeded to investigate three cases of fan violence against minors that took place on December 5 and 23, 2022 in the area of ​​Glyke Neren and in Chalandri.
Specifically, a case file was filed against four people for violation of amateur and professional sports legislation, in combination with robbery as an accomplice and accessory, committed and attempted, dangerous bodily harm as accessory and accessory, weapons legislation and deterioration of foreign property.
As stated in the relevant announcement of ELAS, these are fans of a team allegedly belonging to organized associations, who, acting together with other persons, who are wanted, carried out group attacks against unorganized fans of another team, mainly minors, during a return them from matches.
In more detail, as emerged from the investigation, the defendants, after a fight between their groups, located their victims when they got off public transport and carried out the attacks.
The attacks were aimed at removing the group insignia from the victims and posting them on a social media account managed by an organized link of the group, as well as causing further bodily harm and removing other personal belongings.
The filed case file was submitted to the competent prosecuting authority.
