According to the press release issued by the Ioannina police, the 31-year-old showed a Greek identity card, which had been revoked and was in his illegal possession, while the investigation that followed with the assistance of the Criminal Investigation Department of the General Regional Police Directorate of Epirus, established the facts his identity details.

During the investigation of the case, it was found that an INTERPOL Albania red notice was pending against the 31-year-old. Furthermore, it emerged that the 22-year-old was also wanted by the Albanian authorities, at the national level, for the crime of aiding and abetting serious injury by intention.

As part of the investigations, the following were confiscated: the car, the revoked identity card, an amount of 1400 euros and 4 mobile phones.
