A 20-year-old man, who was fatally injured in a traffic accident that occurred on Tuesday night in Eleftheriou Venizelou, at the height of Eglikada, Patras, breathed his last on the asphalt.
The motorcycle that was also driving in the downdraft, under unspecified circumstances, swerved to the right and collided with a parked car, with the motorcyclist being ejected and ending up on the road.
The 20-year-old was seriously injured in the head, as he was allegedly not wearing a helmet, while – according to police sources – he did not have a driver’s license.
The news of the death of yet another young person in a traffic accident “froze” Patras, with the family of the 20-year-old drowning in mourning. At the scene of the accident, relatives and friends left flowers, while the farewell note that reads: “Our Antonaki, we love you, watch over us from above is touching. Your family”.
