Happy father of two, known and loved by all was 45-year-old George Monogyios who died tragically while driving his new Ferrari on Thursday night. The ultra-luxury high-performance car crashed into a tree in Voula at high speed, turning it into an amorphous mass.

The wife of the unfortunate driver Athena Kontopanou was seriously injured at the General State Hospital in Nikaia.

The unfortunate man was the brother of the ND MP, Katerina Monogyou, while driving a Ferrari for the first time.

Athena Kontopanou was sitting in the passenger seat of the fatal Ferrari and was seriously injured, as a result of which she was taken to the hospital.

The 45-year-old lost control and the luxury car crashed into a tree, causing it to be engulfed in flames.

Firefighters rushed to the scene and released him dead.

According to the videos and photos that are circulating on the internet, the fatal vehicle has been completely destroyed after being engulfed in flames.

Preliminary investigation for the incident is carried out by the Hellenic Traffic Police.

George Monogyios had participated in the reality show “The Wall” which aired in 2003, when he was only 23 years old and was studying Computer Science.

Monogyios maintained a business with branded clothes in the most central point in Matogiannia, Mykonos.
