Regarding the implementation of the “My Home” housing program, DYPA informs that in a period of 8 weeks, from April 3 to May 26:

• A total of 32,939 applications were submitted, of which 16,187 have already been evaluated, i.e. almost 1 in 2 (49%)

• Of the 16,187 evaluated applications, 11,440 received pre-approval, i.e. more than 7 out of 10 (71%), with an average pre-approval amount of €112,743, while the rest were rejected as they did not meet the conditions

• Of the 11,440 pre-approvals, 2,729 loans have already been approved, i.e. almost 1 in 4 (24%), as a property has already been found and the legal and technical audit has begun, with an average approval amount of €104,747

• In total, €214,390,983 have been pledged for the 2,729 approved loans, i.e. 57% of DYPA’s initial funding of €375,000,000

• 66% of approved loans concern the purchase of a first home by couples

• 38% of approved loans concern the purchase of a first home in Attica, 22% in Central Macedonia, 6% in Eastern Macedonia and Thrace and 6% in Thessaly.

It is recalled that through the “My Home” program, young people or young couples aged 25-39 can acquire a home with a monthly installment significantly lower than that corresponding to mortgage loans on the market, as 75% of the capital is granted interest-free by DYPA, while for for those with three children and many children (and those who acquire this status) the loan is interest-free in its entirety.
