The unapproved plant protection substance Chlorpyrifos was detected
On recall corn wafers the Single Food Control Agency proceeds from the market. Specifically, EFET was informed through the Early Warning System for Food and Animal Feed (RASFF), about the trafficking by the Polish company “Good Food Products Sp. z o. o. on the Greek market, corn wafers, in the raw material of which (corn) the unapproved plant protection substance Chlorpyrifos was detected.
The products involved are as follows:
- the product with the trade name “GOOD FOOD corn wafer”, weighing 105g and preferably consumed before 16/12/23,
- the product with the trade name “CRISPY BALANCE corn wafer”, weighing 105g and preferably consumed before 16/12/23.
The EFET requested the recall/withdrawal of the products in question, while the relevant checks are ongoing. At the same time, it invites consumers, who have purchased the above products, not to consume them.
Consumers who have purchased corn wafers are invited
a) with the name GOOD FOOD, weighing 105g and similar. preferably before 12/16/23
