North Korean leader Kim Jong Un promised a “beautiful life” to the families of the “witnesses” who were killed in Russia by fighting the Ukrainian forces, paying tribute to those who were sacrificed on the altar of duty.
Kim met Friday with military families who were sacrificed to defend their country’s honor, according to the North Korean KCNA news agency. The heroic accomplishments of soldiers and officers were achieved thanks to the vigor and courage given to them by their families, “The most unfaithful, patriotic and righteous people around the world,” Kim told relatives of the fallen, promising that he would care to offer them a “beautiful life”.
By the end of April, Pyongyang and Moscow did not formally confirm the development of North Korean troops in the Russian region of Kursk to liberate territories that occupied Ukrainian forces after their unexpected cross -border attack in August 20.
Kim Jong Un will visit China next week, where he will attend Russian President Vladimir Putin at the big military parade for the 80th anniversary of World War II with the official capitulation of Japan. They will be their third meeting in the last two years, as military cooperation between their countries has been significantly strengthened under the strategic partnership agreement they signed last year.
The two countries have not released detailed data on the North Korean forces developed in Russia or the losses they suffered. South Korea’s intelligence service estimates that around 15,000 North Korean military had been developed in Russiaof which about 600 were killed. There were estimates by Western intelligence services that even spoke of 6,000 dead among the North Korean forces.
