Comedoria Gonzales, Andean food restaurant by Bolivian chef Checho Gonzales, will have its activities closed. The space has been operating since 2014 in a box at the Municipal Market of Pinheiros, in São Paulo.

The information was released on the social networks of the house. “The short and blunt truth is that we never recovered from the pandemic and the complete neglect that accompanied it; since then, we have not been able to deliver what is proposed since I opened it”, wrote Gonzales in the publication.
It is still possible to taste the dishes of the restaurant with an informal atmosphere until July 1st, the last day of operation. The menu varies each week and includes ceviches, homemade dishes, sandwiches and empanadas. Tres leches is a hit, dessert assembled with sponge cake soaked in milk syrup and dulce de leche.
Since 1973 in Brazil, Gonzales has sold food in street stalls and managed other restaurants, such as Ají, in Jardins. In 2019, the chef opened Mescla in a garage in Barra Funda, which continues to receive customers normally.
