The center of Thessaloniki has been turned into a “fortress” since Saturday morning due to the gathering that will be held by people from the anti-authoritarian space at 13.00 in Kamara.
As GRTimes.gr wrote yesterday, strong forces of EL.AS. are on full alert to prevent episodes from occurring and to intervene where needed.
It is noted that the demonstrators are gathering in order to protest against the two squatting evacuations that took place recently at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, while anti-authoritarians from other parts of Greece want information to be present at today’s mobilization.
In fact, the Thessaloniki Traffic Police from 6 in the morning has a ban on stopping and parking vehicles on the streets around the Aristotle University with the cranes having started work and removing the vehicles that had remained parked.
It is noted that from the previous days, the Commercial Association has issued an announcement in order to draw the attention of its members to take their measures due to the mobilization.
