Athens Pride 2023 was attended by officials of SYRIZA, ND and other parties – The title of this year’s Athens Pride is “Once upon a time…”.
A colorful celebration of equality and diversity was set up on Saturday in the center of Athens as part of this year’s Athens Pride.
The title of Athens Pride 2023 is “Once upon a time…”. The big parade started from Kotzia Square and reached the Parliament, with slogans such as “I am different therefore I exist” and “You Are Not Alone”.
After the parade there will be a concert with a number of artists which is scheduled to be presented by the popular actor Giorgos Kapoutzidis. Bessy Argyraki, Spyros Grammenos and Chrysa Katsarini, among others, will be present at the concert.
The political presence at this year’s Athens Pride was also intense, with representatives of the parties attending. In Kotzia Square, Alexis Tsipras was found together with other SYRIZA officials such as Nikos Filis and Euclides Tsakalotos, the vice-president of the Commission Margaritis Schinas, the mayor of Athens Kostas Bakoyiannis, ND officials such as Alexis Patelis and Nikolas Giatromanolakis, as well as officials other parties.
