They impress in Alonissos underwater wedding photography in the context of the wedding ceremonies organized by the Municipality at the bottom of the island.
“We are enriching our invitation to visit Alonissos with initiatives that bring travelers closer to nature, in important moments of their lives,” says the Mayor of Alonissos, Petros Vafinis.
It is noted that the first underwater wedding took place last August, paving the way for a new service that is already in demand for planning new weddings on the exotic island of the Sporades this summer. “In order to motivate young couples to exchange vows of eternal love on our seabed, we have agreed with diving centers on the island to provide free diving equipment as well as the necessary training courses to the newlyweds.
Underwater wedding is a sustainable unique experience with minimal costs. The response of the couples is encouraging and justifies our effort to create a new wedding market”, said Mr. Vafinis.
In addition to underwater weddings or regardless of the type of wedding, the destination also encourages underwater wedding photography, as the results from the first underwater wedding “album” stand out.
