Stoppage and merciless wood in the Mayweather-Gotti exhibition fight

by

An exhibition boxing match turned into a general brawl with no… rules. THE Floyd Mayweather and John Gotti faced off in Florida in a matchup that was never concluded after the referee stopped the bout due to continuous challenges from both sides and some… small things that fell out of the game. Then partners of the two athletes “entered” the ring and began to… fight, with chaos prevailing for some time, until order was restored.

Mayweather, 46, undefeated in his career in 50 fights with 27 knockouts, he has been officially retired since 2017, but continues to give exhibition fights. John Gotti, the 30-year-old son of a notorious organized crime bossstarted boxing last year with two wins and one knockout.

The fight was agreed to last eight two-minute rounds, without a winner, since there were no judges to decide. However, Mayweather, thanks to his technique and speed, was dominant throughout the six or so rounds that were played. That’s why after the massive brawl he climbed the ropes and smilingly seemed to be enjoying the… chaos.
