An incident that occurred at noon on Friday has upset the parents, who are asking the School Management to take measures to protect their children.

According to complaints, a white van stopped outside the school, two men got out and approached the railings and started chatting with the children, tried to lure them with candy, while one allegedly grabbed a little girl by the arm, injuring her. lightly and to be transferred to the Karamandane Children’s Hospital for further medical assistance.

According to parents, the children were in the courtyard, as it was impossible to do the art class in the room due to the heat, when they perceived the two men calling them to the bars.

This was pointed out yesterday morning by a delegation of parents who visited the School Directorate, expressing their views on the incident, but also the necessity of guarding the students when they are in the courtyard.

Police sources emphasized that the complaints are being investigated, while – according to information – footage from security cameras in the area has been collected, in order to locate the white van and trace the perpetrators.
