The search for 27-year-old Anastasia-Patricia from Poland, whose traces were lost on the evening of June 12 in Kos, on the island where she was working, is ongoing.

Her mother, speaking to the local Polish media tuwroclaw.com, said she was convinced that her daughter had been a victim of abduction. “Anastasia has been kidnapped. I can’t go into details, but I believe that my daughter was kidnapped,” he said.

What her 28-year-old partner testified

The 28-year-old was the one who last contacted her and also the one who declared her disappearance to the authorities.

In his last statement, the 28-year-old claimed that on June 12, at night and while he was working, received a phone call from Anastasia-Patricia to which she told him that she was drunk and that she would return to the hotel with a friend of hers.

A short time later he received a message on his mobile phone from his missing partner with her location. When the 28-year-old arrived at the scene, he did not find her and started calling her. But the girl’s cell phone was switched off. He then searched for the mobile’s location through an app and managed to locate it about 6km away from where the 27-year-old had sent it, on Kiapoka Street in Tigaki.

But he didn’t find her there either and a few hours later he contacted the authorities of the island.
