In the “Keranis” building of the Ministry of Immigration and Asylum on Thivon Avenue, the Disaster Victim Identification Team will be based in order to provide further assistance to attempt to identify the victims of the wreck in international waters, 47 n.m. off Pylos.
At the same time, a call center will operate for the same reason. The telephone and email contact with the Greek DVI Team will be 2131386000 and [email protected], respectively.

The Greek group DVI has undertaken the humanitarian work of identifying the victims of the disaster in question, in collaboration with the Central Port Authority of Kalamata, the Asylum Applicant Reception General Secretariat of the Ministry of Immigration and Asylum and the Civil Protection General Secretariat.
In the Keranis building, also relatives of the victims will be received for their examination and the collection of biological material (DNA), after relevant consultation with them.
