Today, at 10:00, the nine arrested after the fatal wreck of the fishing boat off Pylos, in international waters, were brought before the Kalamata investigator, in order to apologize.

According to the Coast Guard, these are nine people of Egyptian nationality, aged 20, 21, 22, 26, 26, 29, 32, 36 and 40 years old, crew of the ship, who had distinct roles in transporting the migrants.

The nine arrested are charged with forming a criminal organization, causing a wreck, manslaughter, endangering life, illegal alien trafficking and illegal entry into the country.

It is recalled that yesterday the defense attorneys of the nine defendants requested and received from the investigator a 24-hour deadline, in order to be informed of all the information included in the case file, which has been formed after the additional statements received in the last few days.
