The police dog “Vector” loyal to his duty once again managed to uncover drugs. Police officers of the Drug Enforcement Team of the Kilkis Security Department, with the assistance of the said dog, checked a house in which they found cocaine and hashish as well as a greenhouse of hashish seedlings.

In particular, yesterday afternoon, after coordinated actions by the police, a man was arrested as in a search of his house with the assistance of the police drug detection dog “Vector”, the following were found and seized:

  • quantity of cocaine, weighing 71 grams,
  • 2 packages of cannabis, total weight 213 grams,
  • 1 precision electronic scale and
  • the amount of 3,850 euros.

Furthermore in a specially designed area of ​​the housey was found to cultivate overall 8 hemp plantsfrom 1 to 1.2 meters high, which were uprooted and confiscated, as was the equipment used for their cultivation (fans, dehumidifiers, lamps, etc.).

As part of the police operation yet another man was arrested, as a quantity of cannabis weighing 21 grams was found and confiscated in his possession, which, as it turned out, had been procured earlier by the above-mentioned local man, for a sum of money.

Those arrested will be taken to the Prosecutor of First Instance of Thessaloniki.
