The governor of the Independent Public Revenue Authority (AADE), George Pitsilis, provided clarifications on the fine of 100 euros to those who have not been vaccinated over the age of 60 in today’s briefing on the course of the pandemic.

As Mr. Pitsilis explained, during the implementation of the prefecture, ADEE will issue and certify on a monthly basis the administrative fines to those citizens who have reached 60 years of age and despite the relevant obligation will not have been vaccinated until the 16th day. every month.

The confirmation of fines is made by AADE after receiving the relevant list of vaccination persons from the Ministries of Health and Digital Government, the General Information Systems, and IDYKA, and the further exclusion from this list of persons appearing in the register of ADE. foreign residents, or are in legal aid.

The citizens will be informed through the myAADE digital portal at gov.gr, ie the posting of the act of imposing the fine and the appearance of the debt in the debt information. For the first time it will be done by the end of January. At the same time, they will be able to be informed that a fine has been imposed on them through the platform embolio.gov.gr. For the treatment of special cases that need further examination, the citizens will have the right, through their taxisnet codes and through the platform embolio, gov.gr to submit a reasoned and documented request for objection that will be examined by the respective competent service.

Especially for issues related to updating the tax residence or representation by a legal assistant, Mr. Pitsilis noted, the changes can be declared to AADE by sending a request to the platform ‘My requests through the MyAADE portal at gov.gr. In this case, and if it turns out that they are not obliged to submit a fine, a rebuttal will be made automatically next month.
