Ms. Syregela also added: “We proceeded, among other things, to the ratification of Convention 190 of the International Labor Organization for the Elimination of Violence and Harassment in the world of work and the creation of an Independent Department at SEPE to monitor the occurrence of violence and harassment. at work”.

“The result of our institutional initiatives is visible,” she said.

According to the announcement, SEPE received 81 complaints last year (68 complaints related to incidents of violence (verbal, physical, psychological) and 13 complaints to incidents of sexual harassment), while in 2020 the corresponding complaints to SEPE did not exceed 21.

Ms. Syregela also referred to other actions promoted by the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, such as the creation of a Danger Tool for women victims of violence, information and public awareness actions, strengthening our network of structures or support for unemployed women victims of violence in from OAED programs.
