A prosecution for homicide was brought against the 32-year-old Bangladeshi for the murder of 27-year-old Anastasia in Kos.

According to secure information – in the hands of the investigator handling the case there is video footage of three points burning the prime suspect.

According to information yesterday afternoon, footage from a camera was transmitted which shows the main accused leaving his house with the 27-year-old woman and returning a few hours later alone where after a while he leaves again.

According to police sources the scenario being considered by experienced homicide officers after the rapid developments, is that the 32-year-old killed Anastasia outside and then returned to his house to get the sheet and bags where her body was found covered in Alykes.

According to the same sources, this is also the reason why yesterday afternoon the Pakistani roommate of the 32-year-old was called for a supplementary statement, as in his initial statement he had claimed that the 32-year-old and the 27-year-old had left the house and after hours the Bangladeshi had returned .

The DNA results are expected to shed light on the thriller which will be forwarded unexpectedly within the day to the police and judicial authorities.

According to security officers dealing with the case, the DNA detected on the body of the unfortunate girl by the forensic service of Rhodes and sent for analysis, will also show her killer.

It is recalled that from the first moment both the experienced homicide officers and the medical examiner placed special emphasis on the genetic material that was “hidden” on Anastasia’s nails and this because he wore artificially large fingernails.

Another element that the police expect from the DNA results is the if the girl was raped before she met a martyr’s death. It is recalled that the 27-year-old Anastasia was found without underwear in the wetland, while in his initial statement the 32-year-old main suspect had claimed that they had sexual intercourse against her will. The possibility that Anastasia fought and her killer did not have time to rape her but killed her is something that is currently being examined by ELAS and only the genetic material that has been taken will show the truth.
