In tragedy it almost turned fun for a 25-year-old in the Heraklion Peninsula on Sunday night.

The young man was having fun with his friend in a local bar where there was also a group of foreigners of Arab nationality.

According to information, the group of foreigners were harassing some girls. The 25-year-old and his friend they quarreled asking them to stop, with the confrontation seemingly not getting any bigger.

However, leaving the bar, and heading towards the taxi stand, the two young men met the specific group again. The 25-year-old’s friend allegedly asked them to explain their behavior and that’s when things took a bad turn.

In the fight that followed the 25-year-old was stabbedwhile the foreigners hurried to disappear.

The young man was taken to the hospital, where he is being treated while police officers from the Department Peninsula they are looking for the perpetrators, using testimonies and footage from security cameras in the area.

According to Cretalive information, the young man’s life is fortunately not in danger, although it is reported that the blow was very close to vital organs and in particular to the lung.
