A group of five people extorted a 30-year-old man with threats of physical violence, probably for revenge, and finally tried to kidnap him from his car.
For reasons of romantic anti-jealousy the case of extortion and attempted kidnapping with a victim is allegedly attributed 30 years old which was investigated by the Security, in Thessaloniki.
For involvement in the case, the details of five persons were identified and among them of a 26-year-old womanwhich allegedly had a previous relationship with the victim.
It all started last January, in the center of Thessaloniki, when three of the people involved, on the orders of the 26-year-old, threatened the 30-year-old with physical violence and damaged his business, then demanding the sum of 1,000 euros. They repeated the same threats over the phone.
A little over 24 hours later, the alleged perpetrators pulled the 30-year-old from his car and they tried to put him in theirs.
The victim, however, managed to escape and was taken to a city hospital in an EKAV ambulance, where he was treated, according to a Police announcement.
Then, he addressed the Authorities reporting the above incidents.
The case file that was filed concerns the acts of attempted robbery, extortion, grievous bodily harm, threats and violations of the Weapons Law.
