The Minister of Labor and Social Security, Mr. Adonis Georgiadis, said: “I am happy and proud that my first signature as Minister of Labor and Social Security is the first disbursement of money for the “My Home” program.a program that I managed as Minister of Development and Investments on behalf of the Hellenic Development Bank and which today, through the Hellenic Development Bank and DYPA, we are making the first disbursement to the beneficiaries”.

For his part, the governor of DYPA, Mr. Spyros Protopsaltis, underlined: “The restart of the housing policy, after a decade of inactivity, is bringing the first results, as new couples and young people acquire their first home, through the program of DOUBLE. The response is very great and this proves the need that “My Home” comes to cover. DYPA will continue to support young people with new actions in all areas of its competence and to rapidly implement the government’s policies for the housing protection of the workforce.”

It is recalled that, through the “My Home” program, young people or young couples, aged 25-39, can acquire a home with a monthly installment significantly lower than that corresponding to mortgage loans on the market, as 75% of the capital is granted interest-free by the DYPA, while, for those with three children and those with many children and those who acquire this status, the loan is interest-free in its entirety.
