Police are conducting two separate investigations, reports the British tabloid, into the deaths of the two 18-year-old classmates of Andrew O’Donnell and his Max Wall.
According to reports so far, O’Donnell appears to have fallen and hit his head while walking to his hotel along steep cliffs on Saturday. He had gone out for a night out in Chora of Ios. Police spokeswoman Constantina Dimoglidou said yesterday: “He must have gone the wrong way.”
O’Donnell’s body was found on Sunday morning and his friend Max Wall collapsed from shock near the harbor at 2pm that day when he was told of his friend’s death. According to local media, the young man had a history of heart problems.
The teenagers were on a post-exam holiday celebrating the end of school with dozens of their classmates from St Michael’s College, Dublin when tragedy struck.
