According to the Daily Mail, police are conducting two separate investigations while according to reports the scenario that the two victims were intoxicated by adulterated “bombs” drinks is being consideredwhich they may have consumed on their night out.
In a statement to the British tabloid, police spokeswoman Constantina Dimoglidou said that “although the injuries to O’Donnell’s neck and head suggest at first glance that he veered off course, tripped and fell, we are also investigating the scenario of criminal negligence”.
The results of the autopsy that will be carried out today will be “crucial” for him determining the line of inquiry into the deaths of the two unfortunate 18-year-olds.
“If it is verified by the findings of the autopsy to be conducted on Tuesday (that they consumed adulterated drinks), authorities will move to initiate a criminal investigation“, said the police officers.
