They were identified the details of four individuals who last May had attacked minor fans of Aris, in the area of ​​Panorama, in Thessaloniki.

It’s about four young menagainst whom a case file was filed, as the case may be, for robbery with complicity, robbery with complicity and for crimes of violence on the occasion of sporting events.

The attack against minor friends of Aris took place on the evening of May 26.

According to the report of thestival.gr, everything happened shortly before 11 in the evening. The perpetrators aggressively approached the group of minors, who were in a Panorama park. They had noticed that one of the minors was wearing a shirt with Mars insignia. The minors – about 8 people – ran in different directions to escape.

The perpetrators identified a 15-year-old from the group nearby. They took off his cardigan and they saw that he was wearing a shirt of Mars. One of the perpetrators grabbed the jacket and tore the minor’s shirt. Then the perpetrators found in the area another young man from the group of minors. He was the one who first caught their attention because he was wearing an Ares shirt. They immobilized him and beat him, slightly injuring him.

The announcement of the General Police Directorate of Thessaloniki regarding the identification of the 4 persons states:

“The ongoing investigation by police officers of the Directorate for Combating Violence in Sports Venues of the Security Directorate of Thessaloniki, in the context of investigating a case of an attack with a sports background, against two young people, which took place at the end of May this year, in the area of ​​Panorama, led to the identification of details of four (4) people involved.

They are three local men aged 18, 19 and 19 and a 17-year-old foreigner, against whom a case file was filed, as the case may be, for robbery with complicity, robbery with cooperation and for crimes of violence on the occasion of sporting events.

Regarding the events, in the evening hours on 26-05-2023, a group of people, including the aforementioned, having fan motives, attacked a young man who was in a Panorama park and, with threats and use of violence, took from him a bag containing a sum of money and a scarf with the insignia of a sports club of the city, while in another part of the area, with the threat of violence, they took away from another young person clothes bearing the characteristics of the association of the same team.

The relevant case file will be submitted to the competent Prosecutor, while investigations continue to identify the remaining perpetrators.”
