High temperatures continue and peak into next week – Thursday is forecast to be the hottest day
The high (but reasonable for the season) temperatures will remain next week, while, according to the EMY, next Thursday is expected to be the hottest day, as the mercury will reach 40 degrees in the shade.
Tomorrow Sunday, generally clear weather is forecast throughout the country and the temperature will reach 35 to 36 degrees Celsius on the mainland and 32 to 34 degrees Celsius on the islands.
In the Aegean, northerly winds will locally reach 8 Beaufort.

The weather in the country is forecast to be generally clear, with a few temporary clouds mainly in the northern continental areas at noon and in the afternoon.
The temperature will reach 35 to 36 degrees Celsius on the mainland and 32 to 34 degrees Celsius on the islands.
Winds to the west will be variable 3 to 4 and temporary in the midday and afternoon hours west northwest to 5 Beaufort. In the east they will blow from northerly directions 4 to 6 and in the south-eastern Aegean locally 7 Beaufort.
