The manager of a well-known catering company is said to be, according to the police, behind the frantic coronation party that took place on Saturday night until the early hours of Sunday, in a warehouse in Mets, where the queue of cars reached from Ardittou Street to A ‘ Cemetery, to take the customers, who according to information paid generously in order to participate in the party with music and plenty of champagne.
The issue leaked from videos and information that came to light, through the party, without the authorities having realized the slightest thing until then.
After the leak, the Police carried out an investigation and two days later it was clarified what had happened and the case was brought to justice.
Specifically, a lawsuit was filed against the organizer of the coronoparty yesterday for violation of article 285, which concerns the violation of measures for the prevention of diseases in conjunction with the JMC for the measures in force to prevent the spread of coronavirus, while a fine of 50,000 was imposed.
As it became known by the Police, the party was set up in the basement of a building at the corner of Arditto and Mousourou, above which is housed a well-known club, but which is not involved in the case.
In particular, as it emerged from the preliminary investigation, the owner of the building has rented the warehouse to the owner of the company, who, however, rented it, for an unknown amount, to the restaurant businessman who set it up for the crown party.
The specific catering businessman, who is an expatriate from Georgia, 34 years old, was not found to testify, so the case was filed against him, while the fine of 50,000 euros was sealed at the headquarters of his company which manages catering stores and centers. of entertainment, on Mesogeion Avenue in Holargos.
However, the 50,000 euros are rather “crumbs” in front of the income from the crown party, if the information that has seen the light of publicity is true, according to which more than 200 people participated, while the space was designed with sofas of six, eight and ten people and over. The sofas, according to the same information, cost between 600, 800 and 1,000 euros, respectively, while at the bar customers paid 50 euros per person.
