Four women was extorting and held against their will 23 year old foreigners, who was arrested by police officers of the Thessaloniki Immigration Management Department of the Thessaloniki Aliens Directorate.
The women complained that after entering from theGreek-Turkish borderthen they were taken to an apartment where the arrested, together with another accomplice, held them against their will, extorted them and used physical violence in order to hand over more money from what was originally agreed upon, to release them.
After a coordinated operation, the police, after locating the specific apartment in the wider area of ​​Kallithea, Thessaloniki, arrested the 23-year-old.
The person arrested with the case filed against him for the offenses of criminal organization, illegal transport – promotion of immigrants inside the country, kidnapping and extortion, will be taken to the competent Prosecutor.
