The Region asks the municipalities to send the updated information on the air-conditioned rooms to the Civil Protection Service in a timely manner
The Region of Atticawith its announcement, calls on citizens to take all the necessary self-protection measures from the heat wave that is expected to hit the capital, noting at the same time that the mechanism Civil Protection of is at hand and the maps with the air-conditioned rooms are constantly updated according to the data sent by the municipalities.
By order of the governor of Attica, Giorgos Patoulis, to the competent deputy governor V. Kokkalis and the officers of the Autonomous Directorate, Civil Protection, the services implemented all the necessary measures which those interested can find on the website of the Attica Region.
Also, they can be informed through the relevant map about the points where air-conditioned spaces operate to accommodate and protect citizens from very high temperatures (heat).
The spaces appear in tables that are posted by regional unit and on the website of the Region.
